What Is A Password Reset Disc or Disk And How To Use It ?
Well, at first i would like to clearify one thing. There is just a little difference between password reset disk and password reset disc. When we use word „disc” it is ment an optical, writeable drive, CD or DVD. But „disk” is mostly used for hard drives and removable drives (USB disk).
So, you wonder what those kind of disks or discs are and what good or bad can they do for you. Well, they are absolutely not bad at all. Those may come in very handy when you lose your windows administrator password and can not access your computer anymore.
There sure are some ways to unlock your computer by other methods. In example you can boot up the computer in safe mode and log into the „hidden” Administrator account, but it wont work when the password has been changed before and is not default (blank). Also when you have access to an other account in your computer, you may use in Start-Run „cmd” the command command: „net user Administrator *” and you can reset the password.
„But what if when I don’t have any access to my computer at all ?” you ask. Yes, then it is time to use some of those we talked before.
But ofcourse, the simplest way is to go and get your PC or Laptop and take it to some local repairing company to unlock it for you. But they will charge you some ridiculous cost for it. It is not so hard to make and use those discs at all.
You only need a specially made software for that, and choose whehter you want to make a password reset disc (CD/DVD) or you dont have CD-Rom in your laptop and you might want to use a password reset sisk (USB Flash Disk, pendrive).
