All these laptops should be priced below £500, and broadly of a similar spec, with screen sizes in excess of 15 inches (Below this size they will be classed as Notebooks). Of course, there will be deals and variations in specifications from those tested at different times. As can be seen, there is a wide variety of laptops recommended, but those set out below are all highly rated by the respective testers, and the ultimate choice will be down to availability and individual preference for the detailed specifications.
